A native of Newry ,County Down ,in the North of Ireland . He " served his music scene apprenticeship " entertaining audiences with folk rock ,blues , punk country , pure acoustic bluegrass , and contemporary folk and roots music .

Something of a " musical snob " , Tony resisted writing songs until he felt he could aspire to the quality of the materiel he was already singing . But the time did at last arrive for his writing debut , and the trademark strong contemporary roots and Americana materiel has been flowing from his pen for the last six years .

Tony has shared stages and sometimes vocals with singer songwriters of the calibre of Tom Paxton , Arlo Guthrie , Donovan , and Steve Earle . He has also toured with cult Texan songwriter Richard Dobson ,contributing harmony vocals on two of Richards albums at a later date .

Tony has released three albums todate. His first and debut album is entitled "Cine Rama", his second "Glory Bound" and his newest release is "Tall Black Horse".
